Orava TraditionsTradition plays a very important part in Slovak culture and especially so in Orava, where tradition forms an important part of the region's history. In this section of the web site we look at a number of different traditions in the Traditional Orava Calendar. We also feature traditional food and recipes and describe some of the traditional crafts. This section also includes information about Traditional Folk Music and Dance, and in particular looks at two of Dolny Kubin's finest folk groups: the singing group ORAVA and the dance troupe KUBINCAN. |
