Further Development of the Town

During the reign of Maria Teresa, Jewish immigrants began to come to Orava, which meant increased competition for the local tradesmen.

In 1672, the Dolny Kubin was allowed to build a town hall, since up until then there was no suitable place for the town council to have their meetings.
