Slanica Island of Art

Located in a unique romantic setting, the island's church hosts a collection of folk art entitled "Slovak Traditional Folk Sculpture and Painting".

From June to July each year classical music concerts are held in the church's exhibition hall as part of the "Orava Summer of Music" festival.
The Orava Gallery boat sails from the harbour in Slanická osada and the SAD open-top boat Nord Camion sails from the harbour near the Goral Hotel from June to September.
